IN PHOTOS: DA CALABARZON, headed by OIC-Regional Executive Director Vilma M. Dimaculangan, and the Local Government of Dasmariñas, led by Mayor Jennifer Austria-Barzaga, ink a memorandum of agreement (MOA) on the implementation of the Enhanced KADIWA ni Ani at Kita Inclusive Food Supply Chain Program worth P1 million, on February 17, 2021.
The Enhanced KADIWA program is under the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act II Stimulus Fund for Agriculture, aiming to ensure food security during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. This program will also serve as an outlet for farmers’ cooperatives and associations to sell their products directly to the consumers. It will provide customers with fresh, quality produce while allowing farmers to achieve higher income.
Dasmariñas City Congressman Elpidio F. Barzaga, Jr., Assistant Regional Director for Operations Mr. Dennis R. Arpia, Organic Agriculture Program Coordinator Ms. Eda F. Dimapilis, and Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division Chief Ms. Editha M. Salvosa witnessed the MOA signing.
