Around 1,800 organic agriculture stakeholders are expected to attend the 16th National Organic Agriculture Congress (NOAC) with the theme “Organikong Agrikultura sa Kumikitang Kabuhayan para sa Kalusugan at Kapaligiran” to be held on November 11-15, 2019 at Camp Benjamin, Alfonso, Cavite.
NOAC is an annual activity spearheaded by the Department of Agriculture (DA), which serves as a good venue to showcase organic products, link farmers to markets, and share knowledge and experience among organic agriculture stakeholders.
The 2019 National Organic Agriculture Achievers’ Awards winners and shortlisted nominees will also be acknowledged in this event for their outstanding efforts and contributions to the Organic Agriculture Industry.
For this year’s NOAC, all food to be served during the Congress are organic, the Pahiyas Festival theme will be adapted, and local cuisine of CALABARZON will be showcased.
