Quezon Palay Seed Growers’ Association, Inc. received a one-unit wing van truck worth P1.9-M given by the Department of Agriculture Region IV-CALABARZON (DA-4A) through the Enhanced Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita Inclusive Food Supply Chain Program on April 16, 2021 at the Quezon Convention Center, Lucena City, Quezon.

The awarding ceremony was led by OIC-Regional Executive Director Vilma M. Dimaculangan and Quezon Provincial Governor Danilo E. Suarez.

The wing van truck will be used for easier and faster delivery of rice and other farm produce across the region and Metro Manila of the farmers-beneficiaries. They no longer need to rent delivery vehicles like jeepneys and tricycles to transport their produce.

“Nagpapasalamat po kami dahil nabiyayaan kami ng ganito [wing van truck]. Tiyak po na mas maraming magsasaka ang matutulungan nito na nagsusumikap na itaas ang antas ng pagbibinhi,” said Quezon Palay Seed Growers’ Association President Moises Vidal. #### (Reina Beatriz P. Peralta, DA-4A RAFIS)
