Department of Agriculture 4A OIC-Regional Executive Director Vilma M. Dimaculangan led the opening ceremony of the High Value Crops (HVC) Week with the theme “Kabuhayan ay Paunlarin, Katawan ay Palakasin, High Value Cops ay Itanim” along with the distribution of agricultural materials such as power sprayer, mini chainsaw, and pole pruner for the Mango Growers’ Associations of the province of Batangas on April 12, 2021, at the Agriculture Provincial Office of Batangas.
P6.68-M worth of agricultural materials was given to the said farmer association from Batangas City, San Pascual, Bauan, Nasugbu, San Jose, Rosario, Agoncilio, Taysan, and Lipa City.
Director Dimaculangan emphasized in her speech the benefit and potential of high value crops. The crops are easy to plant and the farmers can also guarantee high income.
