A groundbreaking ceremony of a swine biosecured and climate-controlled finisher operation facility for Tulo-Tulo Hog Raisers’ Association amounting to P5.5 million was held on May 27, 2022 in Brgy. Tulo-Tulo Manggalang, Sariaya, Quezon.
The project is under the Integrated National Swine Production Initiatives for Recovery and Expansion (INSPIRE) Program of the Department of Agriculture-Livestock Program for the repopulation and expansion of swine production for municipalities greatly affected by the African Swine Fever (ASF).
The ceremony was attended by personnel from the Local Government of Sariaya, members of the association, Agricultural Program Coordinating Officer of Quezon Mr. Rolando P. Cuasay, Livestock Program Coordinator Dr. Jerome G. Cuasay, and other DA-4A personnel.
