Department of Agriculture (DA) CALABARZON, in coordination with Batangas 4th District Representative Lianda B. Bolilia, handed over P13.2-million worth of agricultural interventions among selected farmer-groups from the Taal-affected municipalities namely Taysan, San Juan, Rosario, San Jose, Padre Garcia, and Ibaan, Batangas, held on June 17, 2020.

Agricultural inputs include seeds and seedlings (hybrid white corn seeds, grafted cacao [BR 25, certified, and tagged], and Liberica coffee seedlings); fertilizers (complete and urea, organic, and inorganic); farm materials (UV plastic, plastic drum, plastic crates, floating tiller, hermetic bags, nesh met, cassava grater, pruning shear, and moisture meter); machinery (solar-powered irrigation system, mobile grain dryer, and 4WD tractor); and livestock inputs (cattle, carabao, and goat).

The distribution activity is part of the ongoing implementation of the Taal Recovery and Rehabilitation program by DA CALABARZON. • (JAPE, DA-RAFIS)
