The Department of Agriculture (DA) CALABARZON led by Regional Director Arnel V. de Mesa and Farmer-Director Pedrito R. Kalaw showed support to the Go Negosyo’s free mentorship on agripreneurship on May 24, 2019 at SM City Dasmariñas, Cavite.
In his message, DA Undersecretary for Operations Ariel T. Cayanan said that the government, together with our partner private institutions, continues to produce programs supporting the development of the agriculture sector and empowering farmers and other agri-stakeholders.
The program was graced by Senator Juan Miguel F. Zubiri, Presidential Consultant for Entrepreneurship and Go Negosyo Founder Joey A. Concepcion, and other key personalities in the agriculture industry.
Through this program, Go Negosyo’s mentors were introduced to small entrepreneurs offering technical and practical know-how on entrepreneurship. Furthermore, it was a free one-on-one mentorship discussion with aspiring and existing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the agriculture industry, agri-cooperatives, and farmers’ associations. It aims to equip them with business knowledge while providing wider access to the market for their products and services.
The activity is one of the major undertakings of the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division of DA CALABARZON.
