The Department of Agriculture (DA) and Korea Agricultural Machinery Industry Cooperative (KAMICO) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Republic of the Philippines and the Republic of Korea.
DA and KAMICO agreed to carry out the project entitled, “Quantum Jump 2030 in Agriculture Machine Technology.”
Major agenda of the cooperation in the agreement include the establishment of agricultural machinery manufacturing cluster in CALABARZON Region; research and development for agricultural machinery technology; workforce training; and establishment of demonstration complex for mechanization in agriculture.
