A two-day Consultative Meeting cum Workshop on Updating of Farmers’ Profile was held at Hotel Dominique in Tagaytay City on May 9 – 10, 2019.
Participated in by all the city and municipal agriculture officers of Cavite, this provincial consultation has the objective of determining the exact numbers of farmers in the agricultural sector of the said province.
Officer-In-Charge (OIC)-Assistant Regional Director for Operations of the Department of Agriculture Region IV-CALABARZON (DA CALABARZON) Mr. Dennis R. Arpia in his inspirational talk, enjoined all participants to work hand-in-hand with the regional office as to come up with the desired output of the consultation.
All provinces of CALABARZON will be consulted as to their own farmers’ profile.
Banner Program Coordinators were also in attendance and presented their respective farmers’ profile.
The Provincial Agriculturist of Cavite, Ms. Lolita C. Pereña also graced the event.
