IN PHOTOS: OIC-Regional Executive Director Vilma M. Dimaculangan leads the site inspection for the construction of Agricultural Drop Off Center/Trading Post worth P137.5-M along Leviste Highway in Lipa City, Batangas on March 1, 2021.
The said trading post is another support from the Department of Agriculture, which aims to ensure the continuous flow of agricultural produce in the region and Metro Manila.
According to Director Dimaculangan, the construction of the trading post is expected to be finished within the year and it will provide another venue wherein farmers can bring their respective produce.
Also present during the site inspection were OIC-Assistant Director for Research and Regulations Avelita M. Rosales, Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division Chief Editha M. Salvosa, Regional Agricultural Engineering Division Chief Marcos C. Aves, Sr., Mr. John Bryan Gamante from the Office of Sen. Ralph G. Recto, and representatives from the Department of Public Works and Highways and the City Government of Lipa.
