IN PHOTOS: Some 25 concerned research proponents of DA CALABARZON Research Division gather to discuss the significance, progress, and feasibility of its 11 rice-related research and development (R&D) studies and activities for 2021, held at the R&D Multi-Purpose Bldg. in Lipa City, Batangas, on January 14, 2021.

OIC-Research Division Chief Ms. Eda F. Dimapilis led the meeting and, together with the participants, reviewed R&D studies on the following topics: Pest Risk Identification and Management Project, Participatory Varietal Trial, Enhancing the Capacity of Regional Researchers on Rice and Rice-Based Farming System, Mushroom R&D, Community-Based Participatory Action Research on Rice and Rice-Based Farming System.

The group also assessed the R&D activities related to production, marketing, postharvest, extension, policy, and irrigation.
