Department of Agriculture (DA) Region IV-CALABARZON, through its Livestock Program, handed over one unit of egg incubator to Morningside Farms in Brgy. Pangil, Amadeo, Cavite on July 10, 2020.

The said unit was received by Morningside Farms owner Mr. Ruy Valente M. Polistico.

Mr. Polistico expressed his utmost appreciation to the regional office, especially to Regional Director Arnel V. de Mesa and Assistant Regional Director for Research and Regulations, and Regional Livestock Program Coordinator Ms. Vilma M. Dimaculangan for this timely intervention. He said that this is a great opportunity for them to increase their farm breeding process of heritage chickens and to grow their flock.

“This is one of the best egg incubators on the market, and I am very pleased to receive one. It is perfectly built for small farms and it is equipped with a hygrometer, a heating coil as a heat source, and a fan for ventilation that are very essential for improving the hatchability rate of chicken eggs,” Mr. Polistico added.
