The Department of Agriculture (DA) Region IV – CALABARZON, through the Regional Livestock Program, distributed 60 heads (12 modules) of native goat among farmers from Talisay, Batangas on May 29, 2020.
Assistant Regional Director for Research and Regulations, and Regional Livestock Program Coordinator Vilma M. Dimaculangan led the turnover of the livestock interventions among the selected beneficiaries of the Taal Recovery and Rehabilitation Program of DA CALABARZON.
Livestock animals such as cattle, carabao, goat, and chicks for broiler production under the said program shall be distributed to ensure long-term alternative livelihood for farmers severely affected by the eruption. • (SDAL, DA-RAFIS)
