Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) together with Provincial Corn Coordinators from CALABARZON attended the briefing on Cassava Cluster Management Excellence Award (CCMEA), CORNUCOPIA, and National Quality Corn Achievers Awards (NQCAA) guidelines held at Southern Tagalog Integrated Agricultural Research Center (STIARC) Training Hall, Brgy. Marauoy, Lipa City, Batangas on June 22, 2018.
The Corn Program Coordinator and Lipa Agricultural Research and Experiment Station (LARES) Chief Avelita M. Rosales tackled the awards to be given to the winning municipalities, provinces, and AEWs.
Regional Director Arnel V. de Mesa, in his message, said, “Amin pong hinihikayat kayong lahat bilang mga AEW na tulungan at engganyuhin ang mga magsasaka ng mais na pag-ibayuhin natin ang ating maisan dito sa CALABARZON upang patuloy nating maibigay ang pangangailangan ng ating mga mamamayan, hindi lamang sa pagtatanim ng puting mais para sa ating konsumo kundi pati na rin sa dilaw na mais para sa ating sektor ng paghahayupan.”
Also present during the said activity were Regional Information Officer Patria T. Bulanhagui and National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) Region IV-A Director Dr. Fernando N. Lontoc.
