Some 40 participants from Philippine Army in Taguig City attended training on Cassava on May 11at Lipa Agricultural Research and Experiment Station (LARES).
They are dependents of our soldiers from the Philippine Army.
Ms Velet Rosales, Regional Corn Banner Program Coordinator and LARES Chief gave her welcome remarks. “Ito po ay isang livelihood training, isang pamamaraan upang matulungan po kayo na matuto at makapagsimula ng sariling pagkakakitaan. Salamat po sa muling pagtitiwala at asahan nyo po na kami dito sa Department of Agriculture Region 4 CALABARZON ay patuloy na magsasagawa ng ganitong mga training upang marami pa po kaming matulungan.” said Ms. Rosales,
Ms Cynthia Leycano, Senior Science Research Specialist, the one on top of the said training started the activity with a lecture and cooking demo proper.
