This was announced by Engr. Arnel V. De Mesa, Regional Director of the Department of Agriculture RFO4 CALABARZON during the opening ceremony of the 17th PAHIMIS Festival at Amadeo, Cavite on April 25, 2018.

“The credit assistance is in line with the policy of our Hon. Secretary Emmanuel F. Pinol to fully support our farmers and fishers aside from the assistance in the marketing, technology, and mechanization that are readily available to them,” Director de Mesa said.

Likewise, Director de Mesa mentioned that as per record, the municipality of Amadeo is a beneficiary of various interventions from DA like a 14 Million subproject from the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP), a joint undertaking of DA and World Bank, organic fertilizers, coffee/cacao seedlings, and other equipment for coffee production.
