Farmer-Director Pedrito R. Kalaw of the Department of Agriculture Region IV-CALABARZON, Regional Agricultural and Fishery Council (DA IV CALABARZON-RAFC) spearheaded the conduct of its regular meeting on May 21, 2018 at Great Eastern Hotel, Quezon City.
The Farmer-Director emphasized the importance of every province and their contributions in strengthening the agri-fishery sector in CALABARZON.
In his message, DA IV CALABARZON Regional Director Arnel V. de Mesa encouraged the council to join Philippine Rural Development Project by submitting proposals. He even suggested that the council should put PRDP in their agenda in the next regular meeting.
Chairpersons from the provincial council and highly urbanized city presented their matrix of accomplishments including resolutions and policies that they crafted in shaping development for agriculture and fishery.
Moreover, the meeting served as a venue clarify issues and concerns for the council members.
Agricultural Program Coordinating Officers (APCOs), Banner Programs focal persons & representatives and National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) attended the said council meeting.
