The management team of the Department of Agriculture Region IV CALABARZON undergone an orientation to have a deeper understanding on the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) on its bid to become ISO-certified. The orientation was held on November 21, 2018 at the West Avenue Suites, Quezon City.

“We aim that our regional office, including the research stations, will be ISO-certified by June 2019.” This is the target set by Regional Director Arnel V. de Mesa in his message. He enjoined everyone to give their best and fully support the region’s journey towards ISO certification.

Among the potential benefits of having a quality management system are consistency in the services provided, customer satisfaction, efficiency, and effectiveness, to name a few.

The sole resource person for the orientation was Romeo Ramirez, a QMS consultant from CRR Management Systems Consultancy.

It would be remembered that an orientation on the introduction to ISO 9001:2015 was conducted earlier this year for the same participants.
